Lavender Farms Near Seattle

Another thing to add to your summer outdoor activities is visiting lavender farms.

Peak lavender season is between July and early August so it’s a great time to visit. Also, It’s a great way to enjoy the outdoors and support local business owners while following social distancing guidelines. I had the pleasure of visiting a lavender field recently and had a great time.

A few things to keep in mind,

The best time to visit is between July and early August.

Call ahead for adjusted hours and any guidelines to follow at this time.

Beware of bees. They are normally busy working and won’t mind you unless of course, you bother them.

Some farms may not be as full as others and may be located in neighborhoods so when taking pictures, aim for low angle shots. It’ll add a cool illusion to your pictures and help you avoid backdrops you may not want.
